Prior to the Internet, where did people go to waste time? The Internet, particularly websites like freegames.com, youtube.com and hulu.com, has become saturated with fun and entertaining sites, but ten years ago, if you had two hours to kill what would you do? I would imagine a lot of people read more books, or were more active. Video games and the Internet take a lot of time away from other activities like sports or outdoor recreation. Some people probably aren’t affected by the Internet, but most of us know how much of a time killer it can be.
