Visual Motor Skills Trouble

My child has trouble with fine and visual motor skills and receiving occupational therapy. Will a phonics program help him?

You didn’t mention how old your child was, so I’m not sure if this program would help right now or not. Phonics programs are a wonderful reading program typically designed for children age 3-7. I’m a schoolteacher, and have had tremendous reading success with phonics. It is extremely easy to use and is very well guided in its presentation. A good thought might be to have your child’s occupational therapist see if their materials are age/developmentally appropriate for where you child is in his/her growth development.

I do know that we have had great success using this program at my school with mildly autistic children, and we have been able to teach them to read and understand the phonetic concepts. I also think that when your child is ready to begin the reading process, whenever that may be, I think you would be very happy using Phonics.
