When I am looking for self help, my favorite place to look is the library. Some self-improvement books do not really relate with me, and I do not want to commit $20 to a book that may or may not help me. In the library, there is a massive assortment of excellent books for all types of people, and the best part is they are all free to borrow! Now, once you have found a self-improvement book you enjoy, it is important you read it more than once, so at that point it may not be a bad idea to go purchase the book. With the library, you can search for the best self-help strategies without any commitment.

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009My Spa Experience
Wednesday, March 25th, 2009I have experienced the spa once in my life. It was a fun experience, but it really didn’t make that much of a difference to me in terms of stress or relaxation. First, I felt out of place practically the entire time since I really didn’t know what to do or if I should make small talk with the masseuse. Next, I would have rather been playing a sport or something, but that’s just me. I will never understand why some people enjoy the spa so much. Many men and women feel this way about the spa, and yet it is still important to respect someone else’s decision to go frequently.
Creating Super Bugs
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009An epidemic is starting in terms of our antibiotics. For every antibiotic, there is some bacteria that is resistant to it. At some point when we get sick, or get some sort of illness, it will be pointless to take certain types of antibiotics because they simply will not be effective anymore. There are a few reasons for this. One of which is because people do not finish antibiotics. When you start taking antibiotics, you have to finish the entire bottle no matter how healthy you may feel after one or two. Otherwise, you will create super bacteria that is no longer effected by the antibiotic. So next time you get sick, be sure to finish all of your antibiotics.
Working Out Full Time
Monday, March 23rd, 2009Some people are meant to work out and have great bodies whereas others are not. About 1% of the population has enough time to be in absolutely great shape and have a killer body with the ripped six pack, so the rest of us simply need to settle for being in good or moderate shape and focus on other aspects of out lives. In college, I had to keep my grades high to retain a scholarship, whereas football players had to stay in great shape. I spent time studying and they spent time working out. I was never in bad shape, but I wanted to be in great shape like them. Only now have I realized that working out needs to be a fulltime job in order to have an unbelievable body.
