What is “in fashion” is different to everyone. Some people constantly think that whatever they wear is in fashion, but to other people they look like a fool. Everyone has their own style, and that style appeals to certain types of people. Some men constantly like to wear suits, whereas others would prefer Birkenstocks and a t-shirt, and some women prefer men who wear suits often, and some prefer Birkenstock wearers. Fashion, just like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Next time someone tells you what you are wearing isn’t in style, just tell him or her it isn’t in his or her style.

Monday, April 20th, 2009A fun thing to do is look through myspace music for the next big artist. Many of today’s best musicians came from myspace music, and many more are coming. For instance, I recently found an artist named Drake, whom most people predict will be the next large rapper. His songs have been played over 5 million times! You can also look up bands who have already hit the mainstream entertainment scene. Many of the top bands first release their music on myspace. So next time you are bored, go to myspace and look up some new and interesting music. Practically everyband in the world has a myspace page.
Bulk Buying Gifts
Saturday, March 21st, 2009It would be great if we could simply purchase several of the same item and give them as gifts for every occasion. For instance, it would be nice if I could buy 10 salad bowls and simply take one to every wedding I attend. Unfortunately, that is a little tacky and it wouldn’t be good if someone ever found out what you were doing. This is why gift cards are such great presents. You can buy 10 gift cards to, say, Bath and Body Works and give them out at every wedding. Although you can purchase some gifts in bulk, there is no universal gift yet. For instance, if I gave the Bath and Body Works gift card to my little brother that probably wouldn’t fly. Hopefully I will find a universal gift soon.
Gears of War 2
Thursday, January 29th, 2009A great game is Gears of War 2. It has unbelievable multiplayer, and it can be played for hours. It may seem violent to a lot of people, and it is, but at the same time you are killing aliens not humans right? That has to be worth something. The best part about the game is its multiplayer capabilities, though, because you can play with all of your friends as a team or against one another. Each game is different since there are so many levels and fun environments. It is a lot more fun than other shooters like Halo or Call of Duty. You should be warned though, if you are into games at all, once you sit donw to play, you may not get back up for quite a few hours.
The World’s Happiness
Tuesday, January 6th, 2009When I want to know how the world is doing, I don’t go to a site like CNN.com or MSN.com. I go to FML. FML is clearly an acronym, and once you read some of the posts you will able to tell what it stands for. The site is really funny, and people all over the world send in little texts from their day to run it. Each story is usually funny, but some are sad. However, I do think that it is good people put their sad stories up on FML. It helps us make light of something terrible, like a cheating husband or wife. If you can laugh at what happened you will probably get over it a lot quicker. The website helps the readers too, because we realize that our lives aren’t that bad.
