Making Musical Masterpieces

When you are learning new things, it is important to take them slowly. You cannot speed through things until you have them mastered. This really applies to musical instruments. When you are trying to learn a new song, practice going through the entire thing slowly, then progressively speeding up as you get the hang of it. Another strategy to learning things well is to start with the basics. Don’t try to learn a guitar solo when you first start, simply focus on hitting the keynotes or strumming the chords once. Most people would learn faster and remember things longer if they understood the basics by going slowly and breaking it down into manageable parts.
