The face of education is an ever-changing one. Societal opinions shift, new information becomes available, and every year adds another possible line in a history book. Children themselves change, and the educational system must keep pace.

One example of change that affects the classroom is the awareness we have now concerning the various learning styles of pupils. It is valuable to understand that not all children process information the same way. Some are auditory learners, others more visual, and some more tactile.

Such information allows teachers to present class members with myriad activities that address these differences. A teacher who embraces the opportunity to offer lessons with layers of learning is one who will influence students and shape the world.
